How to structure my introductory section?

Currently, the economy and knowledge society produce a huge amount of information every day. This causes the presentation of knowledge to be brief, clear and schematized. In this sense, the development of writing guides and schemes to organize scientific articles can benefit both authors and consumers of this type of knowledge. Therefore, the aim of this document was to offer a guide for writing and presenting the introductory section in research articles. This with the purpose of homogenizing its content based on six essential points that explain the general framework of the work. It was highlighted that the six-step sequence should not be treated inflexibly but can be adjusted to the needs of each investigation and the style of the authors to facilitate their communication.
